Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how LegacySure ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your information when you use the LegacySure mobile application and related services (the "Service").

LegacySure is operated as a sole proprietorship based in the United States. The Service is intended for adults in the United States only.

LegacySure is an educational and organizational platform. It is not a law firm, does not practice law, and does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. Using the Service does not create an attorney–client relationship. Always consult an attorney licensed in your state before making decisions about your estate.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

CategoryWhat it includes
Account Email address, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), and a numeric PIN you set (stored as a cryptographic hash — we never store your PIN itself)
Profile First, middle, and last name; phone number; date of birth; mailing address; city; state; ZIP; county; email; and a profile photograph if you upload one
Planning content Estate planning topics you select, personal notes you write, and documents or document records you add to your Vault
Financial information Asset descriptions and values you enter into the Asset Tracker, including property, accounts, business interests, and related details
Family information Information about heirs, beneficiaries, and family members you choose to record
Support Your name, email, category, and message when you contact support

Information collected automatically

We do not collect or use advertising identifiers. We do not track you across other apps or websites.

2. Sensitive Information

Estate planning is personal. The information you enter may include family relationships, asset values, health-related wishes, and end-of-life decisions. You decide what to enter. The Service functions without it, though with reduced usefulness. Enter only what you are comfortable storing.

3. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Artificial Intelligence Features

LegacySure includes optional AI-assisted features. When you use them, the content you submit is transmitted to Anthropic PBC, our AI processing provider, to generate a response.

This applies to:

AI Q&A — the questions you ask and the conversation history in that session.

AI Meeting summaries — if you record a meeting and request a summary, the meeting transcript is transmitted for analysis. This may include the substance of a conversation with your attorney.

Do not use these features for content you are not willing to transmit to a third-party processor. Audio you record is stored on your device unless you choose to save it.

5. Consultation Packets

When you request an appointment through Find an Attorney, you may consent to send a Consultation Packet to that law office. The consent control appears before you send, is your choice, and can be declined — you can still request the appointment without it.

If you consent, the packet may include your name, profile photograph, phone number, email address, city, state, county, your planning track, the topics you selected with their associated preparation guidance, your requested appointment times, and any notes you added.

Once transmitted, the receiving law office controls that information under its own privacy practices, not ours. LegacySure is not responsible for how a law office handles information you have consented to send.

6. Service Providers

We use the following providers to operate the Service. Each processes data only as needed to provide their function:

ProviderPurposeData involved
Supabase Database and authentication Account credentials and all information you save
Anthropic PBC AI Q&A and meeting summaries Content you submit to AI features (see Section 4)
RevenueCat Subscription management Purchase and entitlement records
Google Play Billing Payment processing Payment details, handled entirely by Google — we never receive your card information
SignWell Electronic signature Documents you choose to sign electronically

We may also disclose information if required by law, valid legal process, or to protect rights and safety.

7. Data Storage and Security

No system is perfectly secure. We use reasonable safeguards, but we cannot guarantee absolute security. A short numeric PIN provides convenience, not strong protection — protect your device with its own lock screen, and do not share your credentials.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Access, correction, and deletion

You may edit your profile and delete individual items directly in the app at any time.

To delete your account and all associated data, email privacy@legacysure.app from the address associated with your account, with "Delete my account" in the subject line.

We will verify your request and delete your account and associated data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records by law. We will confirm by email when it is complete.

Other choices

State privacy rights

Depending on your state, you may have rights to know what personal information we hold, request correction or deletion, and not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To exercise any of them, contact us at the address below. We do not sell personal information.

9. Data Retention

We retain your information while your account is active. If you request deletion, we delete it as described in Section 8. Consultation Packets you have already sent to a law office remain with that office and are subject to its retention practices.

10. Children's Privacy

LegacySure is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Service changes or as law requires. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
